Ian G. Needleman

Ian is Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Periodontology at UCL Eastman Dental Institute three days per week and in specialist periodontal practice two days per week in the West End.

His interests are in improving the outcomes of treatment of patients and in getting clinical research into practice. He set up, and is Director of, the International Centre for Evidence-Based Oral Health (ICEBOH), in the Unit of Periodontology.

He is internationally recognised for his work in the UK, Europe and the USA has provided training and consultancy for the European Federation of Periodontology, The American Academy of Periodontology and the Swiss Dental Association.
